Do you want to make a BIG IMPACT for women seeking a life of RECOVERY? Substance abuse has touched probably each and every one of us in some shape or form weather it's a parent or grandparent child or grandchild niece or nephew or close friend. Watching the people we love slowly killing themselves and destroying their lives is so incredibly difficult to watch and heartbreaking. Alcohols and drug addicts are in the grip of a progressive illness that's almost impossible to break. Having a solid support network and someone who is willing to give them a chance sometimes is just enough to make a start on recovery. Making a donation not only helps to relieve the overwhelming stress and fear of failure due to financial struggles. Sometimes these women just need that confirmation that someone somewhere heard their cry for help and it was answered. Please consider donating today to help a woman start her journey with the best chance of success.
-Even if you can't make a financial contribution help with new hygiene items and nice clothing relieves a major barrier and helps to build confidence. Everyone should have the ability to take a hot shower and come out smelling nice and feeling good about themselves. Everyone should have the ability to go to their own bed with clean linens feel safe to go to bed at night. Being able to wake up and put on a nice outfit a women can feel good about herself and confident to make it to a job interview is massive and can be life changing.
Can I make a donation for something specific?
We have 3 donation options to choose from.
- Home Set Up - This includes furniture, kitchen appliances, large appliances like washer/dryer, and second fridge, home decor, as well as fire extinguishers, cleaning supplies, and all the item we would need to make create a beautiful home women can feel good about living in and finally feel like they have a place to call HOME!
- Scholarships for rent and entry fees - This option will help fund a woman who is desperate need of a place to continue her recovery journey. Most women coming out of treatment centers do not have funds available to pay to get into a recovery house. We don't accept insurance, and most detox facilities and rehabs get paid through insurance. Scholarships help women transition from medical facilities into our home so they can focus on their recovery and rebuilding their lives. This gives them a hand up to make that process easier. Entry Fee is $125 plus first week's rent of $190 so please consider providing a scholarship for a women's move in costs.
- Group Outings - This option will help assist in taking the women on a monthly outing where they can focus on having fun and building deeper connections with each other. Connection is a major component to finding long term recovery and helps to keep everyone's mood more positive. Group outings would look like group dinners, rafting in the Ocoee River, trips to places like Rock City, and even women's retreats over the weekend.
Can I make a recurring donation or just a onetime donation?
You can do BOTH!! You can select the option for a one-time payment or set it to a monthly or annual recuring donation amount.
Do I need to have a PayPal account to make or donation or can I use my credit or debit card?
You have the option to with click on the PAY WITH PayPal tab or you can choose to check out with your debit or credit card. All major credit cards are accepted.
Can I make donations of clothing or household items?
Yes, you can! Please go to the contact page and send me an e-mail to coordinate donation drop offs or pick-ups. We can always use bathroom essentials like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash but these items do need to be NEW and Alcohol FREE. We can always use women's clothing but please make sure all items have been washed, dried and are clean. Anything that is stained or damaged please keep or donate to a local shelter or free store we really want to make sure the only things we are bringing in are going to foster good self-esteem and empowerment. Any furniture donations will have to be delivered since I do not have a way to transport large items, and we can coordinate that through email or phone call. We can always use backup washers and dryers or refrigerators that are in good working condition. We cannot accept any women's undergarment's or bedding items such as mattresses sheets and comforters.
